85% of homes in the UK still use natural gas as part of their domestic heating set up, so being able to install greener, less energy intensive systems to buildings are key to reaching the governments climate goals.
Working with established industry experts, IES can offer a number of services within the heating and cooling space.
This could come in the form of installing the latest technologies into new-build commercial and domestic properties or retrofitting existing buildings to the newest technologies in order the help reduce their existing carbon footprint.
IES and its partners can handle everything from heat loss analysis, planning, handling, delivery, construction, repair and maintenance for its projects.
Our environmental strategy combines energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, and cutting-edge technologies to create a sustainable energy infrastructure for the future. Among our key goals are the implementation of District Heat Networks (DHNs), which play a critical role in decarbonizing heating systems, which are one of the largest sources of emissions in the UK and beyond.
District Heat Networks are a less energy intensive method of delivering heating to homes, businesses, and public buildings. These networks use a central energy source to generate heat, which is then distributed through insulated underground pipes to multiple buildings. This approach eliminates the need for individual boilers in each property, significantly reducing the amount carbon emitted into the atmosphere.
