Description

IES Utility Solutions supplied specialist MV–HV cable installation, jointing, termination, testing and sealing works for the Moray West Offshore Wind Farm substations on behalf of Equans. The project included cable pulling, routing and cleat installation, the installation of Pfisterer Size4 MV joints and earthing connections, and HV/MV terminations into 66kV and 220kV GIS equipment. In addition, the project involved the installation of Brattberg cable transit seals, development of MSRAs, ITPs and HV testing procedures, and the execution of HV testing to IEC60840 and IEC62067 standards.
